Bring Clean Energy to Refugee Families in Uganda

Light Up Lives with Clean, Sustainable Energy In Uganda’s refugee settlements, thousands of families still live without safe, reliable electricity. They rely on dangerous kerosene lamps or walk long distances to charge phones—putting children and women at risk and limiting opportunities for study, safety, and economic activity. You can change that.
At Centre for Environment and Migration Assistance, we’re on a mission to provide solar lanterns, clean cookstoves, and community solar hubs to refugee families. With your support, we can power lives with dignity, safety, and sustainability.
What Your Donation Can Do: • $20 provides a solar lantern for a family • $50 provides a clean cookstove to reduce smoke inhalation • $100 powers a community charging station • $500 installs a solar mini-grid for a learning center
Why It Matters: • Reduces health risks from indoor air pollution • Enhances safety at night, especially for women and children • Supports education—children can study after dark • Enables small business and communication opportunities • Real Impact: • "Before we got the solar lamp, my children couldn’t study at night. Now they dream of becoming doctors and teachers." – Rose, Refugee Mother, Kyaka II Settlement.
Donate Now – Be the Spark of Hope Every contribution powers progress. Your gift will directly help refugees gain access to clean, renewable energy—and a brighter future.
